MAKS Engineers worked as sub-consultant on performing the Post-tensioning inspection for the post-Tensioning operation. The post-tensioning operation was based on the details provided by the Structure Drawings and the Shop drawings provided by VStructual LLC.

The Post-Tensioning Inspection was performed by MAKS as per the FHWA Post-Tensioning Tendon Installation and Grouting Manual, and the PTI Post-Tensioning Manual.

During the inspection, MAKS was collecting all required information and kept a record of the tensioning procedure; providing engineering solutions during operation; preparing the stressing table based on the data recorded during inspection; provided engineering calculations for the stress, elongation, friction loss and etc.

MAKS also helped PKF on providing engineering consulting services for the tendon lift-off test, tendon detention and replacement; provided engineering supporting for the pier 2 strength capacity calculation and safety redundancy check under different construction stages. Provided Construction support services, design of temporary support structure to support the excavation for abutments and piers.
