MAKS is providing the construction inspection for the Pavement Preservation project to extend the service life of Route 9 from Jones Road to Longboat Avenue, Contract No. 082113300, Resurfacing in Townships of Lacey, Berkley, Pine Beach & Borough of Beachwood, Ocean County. The project scope includes but is not limited to construction inspection of pavement resurfacing by HMA Milling, HMA repaving with HPTO and pavement repairs, excavation, geotextile, polymerized joint adhesives, tack coating, full depth concrete paving, concrete sidewalks, ramps, detectable warning surface, curbs, concrete washout, Hot Mix Asphalt paving on driveways, beam guide rails, utilities, and drainages, inlet filter installations and resetting, new sewer manhole installation using new castings, Line/marking removal, latex temporary striping, permanent striping, mono-directional, bi-directional RPM with lens, Intersection traffic signals replacement with new foundations, replacement of underground signal wiring along with rigid metallic conduits (RMC) replacement, pedestrian signal head and push button installation, radar detector, fertilizing and seeding, fiber mulching, and gravel mulching.
